Buffalo Bill worked as a body suit with the operator standing inside his hump. The mouth worked by cable-control from the inside. The eyes were radio-controlled with back-and-forth movement as well as eye blinks. The back legs were attached to the front legs and rolled on casters. Bill's fur was hand woven at the Puppet Studio, combining yarn, raffia and synthetic hair.
