Puppets for Live Shows

Puppets for Live Shows

Greg Williams started as an apprentice puppeteer with the Bob Baker Marionette Theater at age 14 and has maintained a close friendship with Mr. Baker ever since.  Greg continues to book and perform for the Bob Baker Marionettes traveling company.  To book a show for your location call (818) 506-7374.

The Puppet Studio builds and performs puppets for other live shows and parades, like Princess Cruises, Six Flags over Texas and Katy Perry.  Puppet Studio also made a dance rig for Cher’s shows at the Caesar’s Palace Coliseum.

Here are the gingerbread men in action during the finale for Katy Perry’s California Dreams tour in Liverpool.

And we’re not above creating some crazy sock puppets for silly live shows of our own. Voila, Mr. Fabulous!

Mr. Fabulous is a character created and performed by Greg Williams.  Greg turned a simple sock puppet into a major  puppet star for live shows.  Mr. Fabulous has more outfits, costume changes and famous friends than most people!  Mr. Fabulous shows can be tailored to younger audiences as well as adults.  They’re always a good time, and always a little bit different.  Mr. Fabulous has played venues from outdoor festivals in Sunland, CA to the Bob Baker Marionette Theater to Maui.  He even performed at the California Folk Art Museum. Yes, Mr. Fabulous is pretty fabulous.

You can contact Mr. Fabulous for bookings and appearances by calling Greg Williams at the Puppet Studio (818) 506-7374 or sending an email to steve[at]thepuppetstudio.com.

Puppet Studio is located in North Hollywood on Chandler Boulevard, close to the 134 freeway. There is free parking on premises.  Call for a consultation and we’ll talk with you about your project so we can create the optimal puppet for your needs!  (818) 506-7374

Puppets for live shows can be fun–the Cher reviewers thought the Village People puppet rig was actual dancers and not just a puppets for live shows.
